Skeeter has taken her ban on the chin, still plays here, doesn't say anything out of place in PMs. She's been off the air since January 2008. She's renewed her subscription since the ban started, and hasn't gone off to badmouth RHP on any other site. I think it's time the site principals saw fit to review her ban, in the light of some of the other things for which people have received much lesser punishments.

Skeeter has been a rotten potato at times and she is the first to admit it. But she has done her time without complaint. I think she is rehabilitated and deserving of reinstatement into the forums. She has been a role model for other forum banned people to follow. I respect that. Regardless of Davlaygate, this should stand on it's own and have nothing to do with his early release.
This woman has done much to keep my interest in chess and has been a personal tutor from time to time. She has a lot to offer this community, if some of you can find it in your hearts to forgive her, I would thank you now. Please free Skeeter.

I agree with the sentiments expressed here, and would just like to add my 2 cents. Many here say the forums should be free and uncencored. Would that apply to the racist rant of CIV? You see the problem here right? That the forums are more free for some and less free for others. I've said before, and I'll say again, we need clearly defined boundries. Yet boundries themselves are not enough. Forum moderation needs to be done on an equal and consistant basis. I know the mods are volunteering their time, and that they do indeed care about this site, but it isn't always done consistantly, I am not suggesting favoritism per say. Yet one can't help but notice some posters getting away with personal attacks (from multiple clans, not a pfc or tsm thing), while others have the hammer dropped down on them. Clear and consitant guidlines, and moderator accountability would go a long way to reducing the need for exceedingly harsh bans like Skeeeter's. 2 1/2 years? You'de think she slapped the Pope or something.
