I used to race motorcross and enduros - had a CanAM 250 at the time. I finished the 400 mile Jack Pine one year and got a certificate when only 150 contestants made it out of 450 entrants.
i have only got a bandit 600 now and a gsx 1100 but i love them,
never done bike raceing, only track days,
have done drag raceing and stock car enjoyed it muchπ

did you cut them off?
Picture this:
* At 7:00 am 4 bikes take off at the starting line every 60 seconds until all contestants have left.
* They race into the woods following a trail that is marked by arrows on trees.
* So there is no 'trail' for the first 100 riders, but after that it's pretty easy to see where they've all gone.
* You might think you are lucky to be one of the 400th riders to leave - you'll change your mind when you get to that water hole they all went through before you. π After 400 high-powered bikes have forced their way thru that mud hole it's now an impossible swamp!
* First day you have to ride 210 miles through the woods. If you don't get busted up, eliminated (cause you have to make it to timed check points) or break your bike, you get to start out at 7:00 am on the 2nd day for another 200 miles. π

never done anything like that.... sounds good.
haven't ever done it for a while, but we would camp out the forest, beach or where-ever and blat round.
Said we were 'damaging the environment'. *sigh*
Bush says it's okay for lumber companies to go in and cut down the trees, dig up the ground and pump impurities in the ground to try to get minerals out of it - but it's not okay for anyone to ride a motorcycle over the land.
