Hello there, Hairy Mussy. That was a very clever barb you threw my way. I hope you are not still angry at me for those things I said about your hometown, loved ones and subhuman intellect those many months ago. Just want to let you know that I didn't mean those things and I am sorry I debased myself with such a disgraceful demonstration. I hope we can be good friends and, perhaps one day, meet and share life stories.

Your buddy,

David

This is about horror stories. 😠

Did you AT LEAST find a bloody axe on the way home?

Blind tradition and unfounded superstitions still appear to serve as the convenient refuge and conversational opiate of wobbly minds.

😞
Friday 13, 1307 King Phillip, deeply indebted monatarily to the Knight's Templar, orchestrates the mass arrest of all the Templars in an attempt to steal their supposed treasure. All the templars are arrested, except those escaping by ships. Their ships' colors?...the jolly roger. Hence the lore of Friday the 13th, and the birth of piracy.

Correction: Rocky Mountain Oysters. I must say I have not lived on a ranch and had the privilege of this treat.

After coming down with shingles this week, I was already booked in for root canal dentistry on Friday 13. Serious. I got off lightly, though, the tooth is unsaveable and has to come out. The day is deferred.😕

It was not a nursing home at all. I was expected to do an actual concert, not just old songs and hymns for old folks to have a "sing-along". My students give three recitals at a nursing home every year, and I accompany a women's chorale group that does the same thing in several homes. Someone came to me in the dream and said that there was to be a famous ba ...[text shortened]... d they expected me to follow. Of course I was totally unprepared to play what they expected.
Your dream sequence seems almost like an imaginary chess game against a grandmaster.

Hang tough, Bill. Thoughts with you... and, yes, I've been there. This too shall pass.
