We proceeded one really boring night to knocking on several doors and asking people what floor they were on. When replied: "14", we would reply: "But do you know what floor you are really on?". It is really though quite ridiculous how they mess up the natural order of things by skipping from floor 12 to floor 14. They think they are increasing business by preventing any superstitious people from not coming to their hotel. What about all the obsessive compulsive people in the area? I am pretty sure there are more cases of this than cases of supreme superstition. Any thoughts?
It's a load of bull.
What's even more stupid is that airlines don't have row 13 and some hotels don't have floor 13 etc.
The people in row or floor 14 are NOT fooled.
