I don't expect anyone to answer this thread, but I can't help noticing that some people on blitz chess have odd chess manners.
For example, out of the blue, I read the message
"You do not know much chess theory, do you?"
Ok, is it mocking to my poor knowledge of chess theory? Isn't it good for my opponent, so that he can win easier?
Anyway, I replied *self-ironically "I am just joking" just to get this
"U R a joke"
Or some other player who treated me with "dushbag" and "fagot" out of the blue.
Some people who uses to play in parks developed similar technique of "psychological game" during chess games ...

If you get them on this site you can just put them on your ignore list and never see another message from them, but I don't think you can do that on the blitz board. never got much in the way of abuse though, have you had this type of abuse here on
RHP? If so, name names, i heard a few players, U R MATED for example can be quite
antagonistic, i only ever had a bad experience once, but it was someone else.
User 'Brocc' is hilarious on Blitz chat, the first time I played him I disconnected in outrage at the tyrade of abuse he sent me, later that day he challenged me again and I got exactly the same experience, then I realised he propably does it to everybody, and it's not like he's mocking my chess. You just have to play 1. e4 and he'll remind you that your mother is no good in bed.
One time, I checkmated him and he reassured me it didn't matter because he was better endowed than me and all other men.
URMated has never given me any gyp, he tends to beat me every time though.
Then there's Roonja, who always appears to be intoxicated, but nevertheless always smashes me up.

It's hard to find regular players. My first two opponents played 1 move and - disappeared. It seems I will get more lucky with the fourth game - we reached til 6th move so far ... 🙂 In the meantime, blitz was available.

Brocc you say, maybe its Eddie Brocc and he is turning into Venom! I know U R Mated gave a fellow clan member some abuse. VKim is excellent to play blitz against. I wish you could watch other games in progress like on ICC.
I beat a 1600 on Blitz today, which to me is a really big deal, but I didn't save the PGN as a trophy 🙁 I'm guessing there's no way to retrieve it after you've abandoned the board. Can't even remember my oponent's name, James(something) he was fae Dundee.

once, needless to say i did keep the pgn as a trophy, sill egotistical thing to do I reckon,
considering he beat up on my numerous times, almost effortlessly. Congratulations on
your win, yeah although my rating is 1600 I get beat up by 1200's and 1400's all the
time, especially Angry Boy, he gets me almost every time and hes rated 1400.
