While flicking channels last night I accidentally watched a few seconds of Married With Children.
I'd almost forgotten how terrible it was.
Anyway, I suddenly realised that the wife/mother in this show is the voice of Leela in Futurama.
I just looked it up and sure enough I am right.
I know no-one cares, but I impressed myself by noticing.

I think that the Simpsons parody of Married With Children sums up the show pretty well - you know the bit where Homer walks in and the audience inexplicably cheers and whoops loudly for 10 seconds... classic!
Except that often they are only celebrities in the US, and we in Britain are left thinking "who is he/she? must be someone famous" whilst the audience whoops in delight.
