the most popular players from the game mods vote were
David Tebb, Grayeyesofsorrow ,TRACKHEAD21, Mephisto2, CheshireCat, and Gatecrasher
i was wondering on what basis a different group of players were chosen ... is there a relevant thread i have not read?

just to state my suspicions ....
if i was russ then: i would have chosen the most popular players who:
1/ are still prepared to do the job (Mephisto2 eliminated)
2/ have a history of not spouting their mouths off at the drop of a hat (certainly eliminates TRACK, possibly also GEOS; they can still pass future suspicions onto the team of course ... and i hope they are taken seriously because i am sure -GEOS at least - can be very useful).
this brings me almost in line with russ' choice ... but not quite:
i do not understand why Gatecrasher, The Cheeky Cat and arakis were overlooked.
