Gamemaster Series

I was just curious if any chess minds out there also play any of the old 80's Gamemaster series board games. Axis and Allies, Conquest of the Empire, Shogun, and Fortress America? I did play them in the mid to late 80's and as I recall they required a bit of tactical thinking. Interested in other opinions, Thanks.

I could sit and play "Axis and Allies" and "Risk" for hours. Nobody is willing to play though. I must be old.

I just saw Risk Black Platinum Edition in Barnes and Nobles. It was like $75, but I bought it, and am now stuck playing myself lol.

We used to play that and my friends and I have had a HECK of a time to find the board game. The guy who had it moved out of state.

That game comes up in conversation once every 9 or 13 months for the past 20 years.
