Been having a garage sale since this morning; bikes, clothes, vinyl records, toys, etc. Only modest sales. My twin boys had their first ever lemonade stand though, they got a kick out that.

Anyone else ever have one?

Sounds very American.

Not sure if it's still a thing but in the UK and Ireland there used to be car boot sales. People would drive to the same carpark and sell stuff out of their cars.

A lot of second hand stuff is just sold online now. Or given to charity shops.

Careful selling off your vinyls especially if they are in good condition as many are worth a few quid now.

Carboots are becoming a thing again - charity shops are too expensive.

I know but finding those buyers is not easy.

I have original Johnny Cash vinyls that are Christmas albums, original ABBA records, Harry Belafonte in concert and some others. They are potentially worth money and I guess I should try E-bay or something.

Yeah, some guy bought the garage right out from under me--had to pay him rent after that to park my car.

Charity shops are expensive? When did that happen?

Maybe depends on the area 🤔
