Regarding the memo: On closer examination, with my specs on this time, I noted that what I thought was English turned out to be Bantu. Now since I don't have command of that particular language I was wondering if I could get the English version. A friend, who has a very limited handle on it, enough to order a beer and ask where the bathroom is, said he thought it had something to do with elephants and pyjamas. He pointed out, and rightfully so, that that was an odd combination and suggested I inquire from the originator of it's real meaning.

GB Stees, the lens strength of those Canadian Specs seems to be inappropriate for reading the Bantu Memo. Here's the English version of the article contained on page one: "50 things that make people happy" London, Oct 29, 2013 (IANS)

Similarly, we could be stuck in traffic when our favourite song comes on the radio and makes us forget about the nightmare daily commute. Small gestures from friends and family can also work wonders when you're feeling a bit down in the dumps,' a research spokesman said. Most people feel at their happiest at around 6 p.m. Saturdays, the research revealed."

What if one of the couple is you?
Hang on I guess that'd be dementia right?

You'd need to define "old" first.
