I have won and lost many a time out - no problem

However, if one loses a t/o and then the other player blocks; how can I get revenge?

Personally I have no problem at all with t/o's but I think it cowardly to then block said opponent who might like a chance for revenge.

@mi1chael - or should I name you the coward Mi1cael
Yes, you do have a problem with timeouts. He played the rules, no more no less. Calling the player a coward isn't right, surely?
I would also suggest that using the word Revenge is overly aggressive and revealing him to all for breaking no rules whatsoever seems to me to be unsportsmanlike.
C'mon, Martin, get over it and take out your ire on someone else insteadπŸ˜‰.

I find the best solution is to lose within time-bank.

Works every time for me.

LOL@ diver!!!

That is one way to look at it. πŸ˜‰

Geeze if the guy is getting timed-out and the other guy is following the rules, what is the issue I wonder?

I timed Mr T. out according to him, I don't remember doing it, but if he says I did then I did if it was a Clan Challenge game. That is within the rules, nothing to cry about.

Mr. T. Is just waiting for the chance to return the favor I am sure! πŸ˜‰

Just for the record; you did not read my post fully.

I said I have no problems with time outs - look at my record for losing and claiming; more than a lot of members here.

My point was; to claim a time out and THEN block a player I think is cowardly.

REPEAT - I have no problem with time outs; I only think it fair that your opponent is given another chance.

YES - OK - revenge was too strong a term. and I should have re-phrased my post.

BTW - fancy a game?

I think some players just block opponents who time out against them so as to avoid playing them again. (They only want to play people who move within the agreed time control). It probably wasn't personal and certainly not cowardly on their part.

It was probably poetry related. πŸ™‚

"Getting revenge against a time out"

This seems like such an alien concept to me.

Why would someone want 'revenge' if they screwed up?

It's their own fault.

FACT: You always do assume the worst!

You are the one person I would probably never block, I have too much fun laughing at you working on your poetry. πŸ˜‰
