Canniblalism was evident in all the southern cooks, but it was essentially a by-product of warfare. The men fought over food, women, land, and petty affronts of all kinds. Successful warriors(the winners 😀) would eat their victims(the losers :'() as a form of revenge.... (hence their opponents were never naughty again.) Women and children were spared, and any ...[text shortened]... erence though, as some rarotongans preferred eyeballs, while others enjoyed tongues etc....).
