Yes, muderous gangsters are awful. What is inspiring is the craft brought to bear on their portrayal: script, acting, production values, the delving into such an ugly nook in the human condition.

You shouldn't watch The Sopranos if you think brute murder will "inspire" you.

You shouldn't watch The Sopranos if you think it will have some effect on you and others that will be a threat to "our species".

Much better for you if you just clutch your pearls and do your virtue signalling like you are here.
