With Bush in office the U.S. will soon be just as broke, since it appears the Republicans just don't know how to balance the budget. The most recent budget is a pork laden disgrace. Reagan and two Bushes produced nothing but record deficits. The only one who could balance the budget was a "tax and spend" Democrat. Funny how that works.

Canada is not the new utopia, but I think they've got a much better approach to many of the issues than we do. Our foreign policy is an absolute disgrace, and since Bush seems determined to march in lock-step with the religious freaks in this country and drag us all back into the dark ages, I begin to despair for our future.

I do not support Sharpton because he is a minister, but if it came down to a vote between him and Bush, I would vote for Sharpton in a heartbeat. In fact, I have such a overwhelming and utter contempt for Bush that I would vote for almost anyone in preference to him.

I hope that has answered your questions.

The sad truth is, this guy will probably do a much better job of "representing the people" than most politicians could! Go H'Angus! As for them politicians whinging, I thought we had the right to elect our own representatives, not the right to representatives that they agree with

Now Bush will probably win the next election for sure. ๐Ÿ˜

It's time to move to Canada.
I agree with your election prediction. Decisive action, as shown by Bush, is a positive trait that none of the democratic candidates possess.

Thanks, I'm just starting to get back in to the swing of things here again. Not playing any games just yet, though.

The thing thing about candidates like Kucinich, Sharpton and some of the others is that they can say exactly what they think because they have no chance of winning. It doesn't matter if they alienate anyone. The front runners all have to ...[text shortened]... ting Bush, which is all that matters. Even though that chance seems to be a little slimmer now.
I like how kucinich, and sharpton tell it like it is. i feel like their being in the campaign has had the affect of keeping the others a little more 'honest', and pushing them a little more towards the pre-clinton democrat position. though kucinich is my favorite on the issues, if sharpton had any chance of winning i would vote for him in a hot second.

hey, anyone else notice how now that gore is out from under clintons wing, and not trying to be pres, he is much more liberal? it's weird what politics will do to ideals....

I think it's awesome.

I believe that it is CRUCIAL that President Bush remains in the White House for another four years during this point in our countries history. Any Democrat elected to the office would seriously endanger the future of our country. And that freak Dean is the worst one of all. He actually espouses the view that Bush had prior knowledge of the events on 911, unbelievable.

I believe that Bush's economic strategy has been inspired and one of the core reasons the economy is coming back so quickly.

The persistence and vision shown by President Bush has been amazing. By the time the elections roll around we will have the beginings of democratic governments in TWO countries that had no hope of achieving them without our intervention. That is a beautiful thing by its self.

Well, said...although Bush has his faults, there is NO Democrat with the fortitude to act in defense of the U.S. the way Bush has. If slick Willy Clinton had paid attention to world threats the way he paid attention to strange poontang, we would never have had 9-11. With the exception of Lieberman, they are all clones and Clinton clones at that. Yes, Dean is a chump...and an angry chump at that. Now, if Bush would only secure/defend our borders with the military as he does Europe and South Korea, we would be that much safer. As a matter of fact, pull our troops from Germany and Korea where they are not wanted or needed and place them on America's border..

To defend against what? Rampaging Canadian hordes? That would sure help me sleep better at night.

You're facing the wrong direction, mister...look south to the Rio Grande where 13,000,000 illegal aliens and God knows how many terrorists have made the swim, but since you mentioned Canada, yes I think Al-Qaeda has already proven that they can come through from Canada. New Years 2000 ring a bell? And Canada has such a liberal immigration policy that any militant bent on blowing up you or me can obtain a Canadien visa or just show up at Canada's door to be let in. Now, before you accuse me of being anti-immigrant, if you choose to do so, let me say that I am second generation immigrant on my maternal side. I am not against immigration, just illegal immigration.

General Wesley Clark is hardly a Clinton clone, and it seems a stretch to say that the former Commander of all U.S. forces in Latin America ('96-'97) and the Supreme Allied Commander in Europe lacks the fortitude to properly handle the defense of the U.S. Bush's unilateral policies, and his fondness for ultimatums has actually harmed the U.S. in its 'War on Terror' by undermining diplomatic relations and squandering internation sympathy for the victims of 9-11. Clark has a successful history of fostering and maintaining international military coalitions; Bush could do worse than trying to emulate this Democrat on matters of warfare and defense.

This is something I haven't heard about Dean. Could you please cite your source for this allegation.
