The incident took place three weeks ago, but the swimmers kept quiet about the story until yesterday because they feared that the shark would be hunted.
What?!
Next week's story - Family eaten by great white while swimming 100 metres off a beach at their home town of Whangarei, in North Island, New Zealand...

Sharks have as much right to live as any other species.
I adore dolphins. They are wonderful creatures. They are also very sexually active, participating in group sex and all manner of erotic behaviors. They are aroused by humans as well. I always thought it felt good swimming naked. I guess they do to!
If I could be n animal I would be a dolphin.

Also, I believe if a shark eats someone, too bad. We're buggering around in their space, so if they eat us, they're just showing us who is the boss.
The point I'm trying to make is - They are life savers! If they know of sharks in the area, the least they can do is warn the other users of the beach!?
