I don't know about greatest, but ''God Shuffled His Feet'' by the Crash Test Dummies and ''The Boy With the Arab Strap'' by Belle and Sebastian are quite good.

If it's 1790s you mean, then the ''Agnus Dei'' from Mozart's Requiem Mass might be it.

What's the big deal about Metallica?

Neither of the songs I've mentioned makes me much of a ''pop chick'' either, as they are folk-rock and indie respectively, so it would have been more correct to say ''some of you are pop chicks'' and then provide evidence that at least one song mentioned in this thread is a pop-chick-indicator.
