i have an electric guitar. it is rather nice. it has no amp. help.
i dunno how much i want to spend as yet-but probubly not more than £100. i'll only be using it for my room and at uni-but there's no practice rooms for amplified instruments as yet, and -tbh- i currently have no prospects of doing a gig.
so, what do yuo think i'd need? how many watts? how much should i spend? is second going hand a decent option? what makes? cuase i don't think i really-o trully-o need a line5 as yet...🙄
while not quite so röck, headphones do allow for practicing where you can up the volume to above the string noise (which is a real annoyance playing quietly) without bringing horror to your neighbours.
Have you got an active electronic circuit in the guitar (in which case you may well get away with guitar to <optional: effects pedals> -to headphones with no amp at all.
