I know its not really "a" movie, but the Band of Brothers series was excellent.

But Phish, you left out a classic. Did you forget about "Gigli"?

Jonathan "I pray no one takes that seriously" Fulcher

My god man, Tombstone and Heat. You must be some kind of psychic, I would have said those right at the beginning. I also agree with Kill Bill and most of the others. However, I have to say that I didn't really enjoy The Godfather (any) as much as I'd hoped. yes, it was good but something was missing.

Kill Bill...I haven't yet seen it (legally😳 joking) but I thought that whole black and white thing made it bad. I wouldn't have minded seeing the colour, but the rumor is that Tarantino had to make it Black and White so it would get released...any opinions?

What! Casino was just a poor remake of Goodfellas! Watch the 2 films back to back and you'll see that the caracters and plotlines are sadly similar - even the same central actors.

GB&TU, is a great movie though, well followed by Fist Full of Dollars & For a Few Dollars more for a good night in with the lads and a crate of cold beers.

You're showing your youth my friend. IMHO it is another example of a poor remake.
Try watching the origional staring Tom Selleck (sp?). It wasn't even that good a movie, but at least it was origional.
And if anyone now nominates the new "Italian Job" film I'm coming aroud with a shotgun and a pile of DVD's to reeducate you 😉

now thats a good brithish guy film!

David
Lock Stock...One of my favorites. In my eyes, it was the Original "Snatch". The stories paralleled quite a bit.

Boondock Saints is another favorite.

Old School has been played so much at my house, that my wife cant stand it anymore.

They don't make movies like that any more - when they try they fail.

The Car Chase in Ronin was one of the best ever.

No music, no fake sound effects. Just pure, engine whining, tire screaching, and crashes.

theres not a lot of it that was black and white as far as I could see. I'n my opinion the worst parts were when Gogo (Oren's bodyguard) dissembowelled that random guy.

On the subject of the Anime section. I saw an interview with him, in which he said that they didn't do it for censorship reasons. But, because he didn't want to put a ten year old actor through it. which is fair enough.

Ronin. Yes, nice car chase. Shame about the rest of the film really isn't it🙂.
