Against Macedonia 1 - 0 as I recall.

Great result.

Too bad you guys can't win when it matters.

Don't forget, England managed to defeat the mighty Andorra, half of whose population was on the pitch playing, and then managed to vant and boast about it for two weeks.

How sad. You folks really do have a massive inferiority complex. How else do you explain it?

'Half of whose population was on the pitch.'

That is priceless.

I'm still in tears!

Nice one.

Never mind the English.

They beat Andorra and think they will win the Euro and World Cup by the end of the decade.

Then, when they get expunged in the second round/quarter finals/ group stages, they cry ‘WE WOZ ROBBED’ and the whole world laughs.

But fair play to them.

The World Cup just wouldn’t be the same without the stupid English hordes clamouring that the cup should be handed over to them without even having the tournament.

Forza Italia.

I think over maybe ten years it is mostly a fair reflection, but taking it over two years Italy would clearly be top. Let's not forget that they are however still suffering from the World Cup hangover and have stuttered lately.

However, I am surprised to see England in the top 10, and I don't agree with it.

I'm surprised to see Germany so low.
Remember it's not based on what you have won, but consistency of results.
This might explain why England are top 10 without winning anything.
Also, Holland, Czech, Portugal and Spain have not won much have they?

I can't believe all this BS has fired up again so quick. I was hoping that it would be the last I heard of it, at least, until Euro 08 finals. But alas, no. Carry on children. Blah.
