Well, well, well, at first I was overcome by the proximity to the shameless MI:3 advert from the creator of lost in the ad break. It lead me to believe that the Hanso foundation was something to do with Tom Cruise and his Scientology gibberish, but it seems there is more to this than meets the eye. Any of you watching LOST may have noticed the advert for the Hanso Foundation, I did and believing that Scientology-boy had something to do with it, I perused the internet for some info (I wanted to start a thread about what a pr;ck he is). This is what I came up with:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanso_Foundation
and
http://www.thehansofoundation.org/
The interesting thing is that the Wikipedia page contains info about today, but in the past tense which means they've been prepared for ages. Anyone interested in finding out what the mystery really is?
Originally posted by StarrmanWell Scooby, that magical mystery might be solved by the fact that Series 2 was released in the US last September!

Originally posted by Daemon SinOn May 2, 2006, the Hanso Foundation website returned with a completely new design and new sections in order to play an important role for "the Lost Experience" ARG. The first clues for this game were given in the UK, during the first advert break of the second season premiere of Lost. An advertisement of the Hanso Foundation was shown with a freephone number (0800 66 66 40) which gives options for general information and various directors' voicemail. This clue has a connection with the Newsletter section, in which first you have to enter a screen name, then type yes and finally a person named Persephone asks you for a password which is "Breaking Strain".
What was the 'info about today' on Wikipedia then?
That was actually posted before the 2nd of May, but this wasn't what I menat by the mystery, I was more concerned about the Lost Experience game. Nevermind.
Apparently the writers of Lost sat down and figured out how to drag this thing out to five series, right from the outset.
Seems a bit cynical to me, although I must admit they dangle just enough information to keep you interested.
I noticed the Hanso Foundation for the first time last night, thought it was a bit strange but wasn't curious enough to look it up.
