Thank you to our Canadian friends. I gather you still have a king, in a way. In my view, that king (despite his personal life) and his likely successor both seem like generally decent people to me.
Down here, however, I think we still need to assert that we don't want another king (or a doofus of a mob boss) and his horrible minions to lord it over us.
