I learned in the Happy 4th July Weekend USA thread that it is also the Birthday of Canada.

I've enjoyed some super games and chats with Canadians.
So hows aboot their own thread? Good enuff!

Chessnut57: We celebrate much the same as our friends to the south, BBQ's, beer, lazing about, beer, parades, beer, fireworks and sometimes we have a few beers.

For lots of people, yes. But I've got something a little different to celebrate, some 1892 Tradional Ale from the Quidi Vidi Brewing co. in St. John's, Newfoundland.

The Canadian Flag was flown from the top of the Auckland Harbour Bridge.. I'm drinking Whisky & Canada Dry Ginger and played Oh Canada badly on the cornet Parp Parp Parp Paaaaarp ...(the whisky is scotch..lol)
