Sounds more like you got out of the way for the railroad, not that you actually helped to build it.

Lots of people had to move off of their land to make room for the Railroad, and it didn't stop at any particular race. If you were in way you moved. I think they called it progress at the time. 😉

You obviously did well, and ended up in Germany!

Do you think it was only Chinese that helped build and maintain the railroad?

The answer to your question is no.

That is almost like Robbie saying it was his land!

well it was kind of more getting out of the way of unscrupulous and greedy landowners who sold us down the swany without a paddle, but i guess your right.

i have never been to Germany, i live in Glasgow, well i wouldn't say live, more exist than live actually, i am just supporting them in the World Cup, soccer that is. If Canada was good at something other than chicks ice-skating with bendy sticks, id support them.

You live in Glasgow Scotland, and fly the German flag. Are you embarrased?

You sound like the American teenagers traveling with Canadian flags!

I support Brazil but don't fly their flag, because I am a proud Canadian!!! 😏

no not embarrassed, i have a good friend from Germany, I like German beer, Bavarian actually. If i was German i would be a citizen rather than a subject and i could support a football team that actually won sometimes.

who are these American teenagers and why are they carry Canadian flags?

you need to take time out my friend, splash out the cash, take your wife on a romantic train journey, relax and enjoy life. Time is undoubtedly the most precious possession we have, don't you think?

Actually i don't like the attitude of many in rural Scotland, they have a very parochial attitude. Closed communities and closed minds, no concept of hospitality. I could not bring myself to fly a representation of such a heinous attitude. i am not proud to be Scottish, i need a new country, so i chose Germany, if you can think of a fairer society, one that is hospitable and broad minded, then i will seriously think of hoisting it.

What makes you think that would be her or my idea of a romantic journey?

Are you going to guarentee the safety of the unkept tracks? There have been more de-railments in the past 10 years than all the years before since the railway was built combined.

They just don't want to spend the money on the railroads anymore.

Time is precious and so is ones life.

-VR and the way I see it.

well train journeys are traditionally associated with romance, more so than, driving, or flying. probably only sailing is more romantic, i think.

No money for the railway? like i said, splash your cash and get it upgraded!

Yes time is precious, most valuable asset we have.
