@divegeester saidI reached the deepest abyss of my life [thus far] midway through this unusual and - for so many - tragic year. But the process of climbing out of that abyss has made the latter half of 2020 one the greatest periods of my life. So, literally, mixed feelings for me a.k.a. swings and roundabouts. I feel for all those who lost loved ones to the pandemic. May 2021 be less unusual and less tragic. Merry Christmas.
It’s been a horrible year in the outside world, and in here we’ve had our ongoing problems too. But nevertheless ...
HAPPY CHRISTMAS ONE AND ALL π

We (my other half and I) are so pleased that you and your family got through that abyss, it was indeed a dark time. It is pleasing also to see that you are returning to your work and hobbies with renewed vigour, creativity and your typical acerbic wit.
Our best wishes to you all over there in Yogyakarta!

@divegeester saidThank you for being on the other end of the line at all times of the day and night back then.

@divegeester saidMerry Christmas to all, Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Atheist, Straight, Gay, Democrat, Republican, Communist, Capitalist, Rich, Poor, Smart, Stupid. Regardless of who and what you are, God made us. Imagine if we were all identical, what a boring world that would be. God loves diversity and He rewards the generous and the compassionate. Just be that and all will be well.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS ONE AND ALL π
So lets get back to the arguing. π

@ghost-of-a-duke saidYup and will continue to do so.
Look to the future now, it's only just begun.

@torunn saidJust watched the "colorized" version for the first time this year. And while I don't believe all films should have the treatment, it certainly works well on this Christmas Classic!
This afternoon Swedish Television will show the American film 'It's a Wonderful Life' from 1946 with James Stewart and Donna Reed - also a Christmas tradition.
Merry Christmas to the whole RHP family!
Both, friend and foe alike.
Wishes for safety, under canopy.
Free of fear...and another viral spike.
