Cerezo beat Ichihara Jef United 5-2 in the 5th round of the Emperor's Cup today. On a frozen pitch with snow all around, Morishima opened up the scoring, followed by Bruno's penalty just before half time. Then Kurobe, Furuhashi and Maeda all got one each in the second.
Jef struggled valliantly but could only get 2 in return.
Cerezo will play Ganba next in the quarter-final at Nagai on December 24th.
