Much beter than last year.
Last year I was broke and sat in a hospital room watching my wife dieing of cancer.
This year I'm starting after a nice evening at home with friends.
My financial situation has improved immensely, and I'm enjoying my life.

Happy New Year from St.John's as well. We'll be the first in North America to celebrate. NST is 1/2 hour ahead of the rest of the Atlantic Provinces and 1 1/2 ahead of the mainland.
