It has to be said, but leeks are the FOULEST food known to man. In fact, they're NOT food. They're something else, like Brussel's sprouts.

The national food should be mushy peas, except the Welsh call them something mildly insulting.

actually-the welsh have a very nice national dish, thankyou very much. they call it "welsh rare-bit". we call it "cheese on toast"...
