Regardless of what people think about Thanksgiving and the slaughter of the red man, it's my favourite holiday. There are no commercial or religious overtones. It's simply a time to eat, bond with friends and family and get lots of sleep.

All you Thanksgiving haters can drink my ball-gravy.

Hey Darv, I said Happy Thanksgiving yesterday, mine isn't for another month and a half. How was yours?

in USA there are...

Cor, they have to put God in everything don't they?

Edit: serious question. What does Canadian thanksgiving celebrate? In the USA they are celebrating the feast the pilgrims had in "the new world."

It was good, thanks.

My angry post was directed at certain limp-wristed tard wranglers stinking up this thread. Namely XanthosNZ and his boyfriend, Hopscotch. What a couple of chumps!

It's a harvest festival, they happen everywhere, you don't have to have Pilgrims, pilgrim...

Thats a John Wayne/Americanism... In the Southern Hemisphere they happen in our Northern springπŸ™„

Let's just toss the Pilgrims to the Lions, okay? Uptight fundamentalist political refugees!!!

Think how much further ahead we'd all be without them....
