Originally posted by arrakisSo did anyone turn into a pumpkin last night? Did the goblins get you? I got a story, Yesterday evening a young toddler came to my door her mom was standing at the end of the sidewalk dressed as a sponge and the child as a zebra kind of cute, anyway I opened the door to give her some candy and send her back over to her mom. Just as I was dropping the candy in her plastic pumpkin my neighbors cat ran out from under the stairwell and spooked the little girl. She dropped the pumpkin full of he candy and ran to her mom and the cat chased her and knocked the little zebra down. I felt terrible. She was ok, but she was scared to death. I gathered her things and brought it to her Mom and told her I was sorry her daughter was attacked. Well anyway we kind of had a laugh about it afterwards but I am not sure the little one will ever want to go trick or treating again so I gave her the rest of the candy I had left (which wasn't much) told her Mom to save it for next year. I kind of wish I had had a camera though, it was actually kind of funny. Stupid cat is horrible. Every time I go in or out my door the beast runs in my apartment and I have to spend the next thirty minutes chasing it around the place turning the furniture over after it dives under something to get it back out the door. Anyone know how to deal with a pesky neighbors cat? In a happy way of course.
Cheapskate! ðŸ˜
