Not like I used to butI am, of course cheering for the Oilers though things are not looking great. It’s hard for a good team to win when they come up against a goalie who seems to have eyes in the back of his head.🤔👍
I am hoping the 7th man (The Fans) back in Edmonton will push them to a couple of wins, if they lose the next game I'd say it is over for them as Florida will smell the blood and will win the series for sure. I know teams have come back down 3-1 but, not going to happen with the way the Russian Goal tender has been playing. The guy has been almost unbeatable, should win the Trophy for Best Goal Tender, maybe even MVP of the series, providing they go on to win.
Did you know Florida have more Canadian players on their team than Edmonton? A lot of heart on that Florida Team!!! Got to give them credit.
Also if Florida win the cup it would be their first Stanley Cup in a bit over 30 years since they joined the League. If Edmonton come back would be the first Canadian team since 1993 when the Montreal Canadians last won it with Patrick Roy in net. Most of those guys ended up in the Hockey Hall of Fame.
