Brings to mind one aged cripple, doing her best to tool around that hospital/nursing home's six halls in a motorized wheelchair with a pitiful, worn out waldo clutched to her sunken chest in her free left hand. Thanks much for evoking these not so totally unpleasant memories of my sixteen month incarceration in that blessed Alabama jail (as my focus faltered and chess skills went to hell). I'm no longer paralyzed but my chess prowess, such as it ever was, still struggles to climb out of the circumstantial hole that critical medical episode caused....
