I was wondering weather or not any of you have used a strap on light when goeing through dark places, eg underground or in abondend buldings.

Does it compare to the real thing?

Is it battery operated?

Is it very heavy?

I've got these "glasses" that don't have any lenses in them but two bright battery powered lamps either side of the temples. I find them very useful in powercuts. 😏

Some years ago I used to do a lot of spelunking (caving) as we have a tremendous cave system here in Kentucky. I have used both battery powered lights and the real thing (acetyline torch).
