When she realized she was a nobody compared to the Family she pulled the race card.
Imagine being an actor and kinda famous in North America and then you're a relative nobody compared to the royal family...
Her ego took a hit and she threw a fit.

Oh and she was a tramp. They expected better for Harry.

I am not a royalist but think hanging your familys dirty washing out is dispicable and I dont think harry would have done this without Megan stiring the pot.

I got the impression that they genuinely wanted to remain a part of the Royal Family and continue with their duties. There was a concern about the level of popularity shown for them, particularY Meghan, when they visited Australia with their first child. Upon their return to the UK they attended a high profile family event but unfortunately most of the shots portrayed on the front of the newspaper the following day were of Meghan. She’d put the Queen, Charles, William and wife in the shade. That didn’t go down well with the palace after which things began to change for them. The palace should have worked harder to keep them included. They could have been a real asset to the Royal Family.
