NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Fellow IRL driver Ed Carpenter says Danica Patrick has what it takes to succeed NASCAR and is plenty aggressive in open-wheel racing when it's "the right time of the month."

Carpenter spoke yesterday on WGFX-FM in Nashville, but later told the Associated Press he didn't mean to be disrespectful by using a female stereotype.

Alternatively, if bleeding makes women more aggressive drivers, surely the answer is then to slit their wrists before they start a race. Then they're guaranteed success!
