Back here again for a little while...No youtube, no facebook, no twitter...enough to make me want to move here.
Some things of note...
1)Starbucks and Mcdonnalds look a lot more friendly in a place that has no coffee to speak of, and their "western food" is muck.
2)Spitting on the floor in restaraunts is never cool, even if it's a "cultural thing".
3)There is a fine line between a cherished family member and an annoying cock blocker.
4)Telling your partner number three while the cherished family member is sitting in front of yous is not as funny as you may think (and unlikely to "seal the deal"😉
5)It may look like chocolate flavour, it may be in the section where chocolate flavour is supposed to be....but chances are, it's soy sauce flavour (or something equally unexpected).
6)For all it's quirks and flaws, China is still a damn site better than being at home 🙂🙂🙂
Peace out...Huck

2) It is Chinese custom to yock on the floor, in any meeting.
3) You didn't/don't have enough money.
4) All deals are corrupt.
5) Refer to #1.
6) For now, for you, but to live it rurally in the long term..... I doubt it.
Peace to you, enjoy while the experience lasts. (Been there, seen it, lived it, done it; and there are a heck of a lot nicer places on the planet to be.)
