I'm after a free FTP client download that's safe and sound. Any suggestions anyone? Grateful for your help.

I use FTP Commander. I think I downloaded it at www.tucows.com. It's not great, but usable.

Do a google search for SmartFTP.

thanks - it's not for a great deal of stuff so usable is all i need.

for something quick and easy you can use internet explorer ie

ftp://username:password@address:port
