God I'm soo confused.. I need new guitar.. BADLY
Heres what i'd like:
1. Play nice
2. Sound Great
3. Floating termolo
4. 24 frets (will settle for less)
I have £300 will save extra £50 if needed.. so were looking at around £300-350
If the floating termolo is going to give me tuning probs. then i'll settle for tune-o-matic bridge. above all this guitar MUST play & sound great, i'll be using it though PodXT and guitarrig etc. So a versatile guitar is needed. I've seen one guitar which I love the look but unsure about the pickups. I may replace the pickups at later stage if the guitar is worth upgrading..
Heres the guitar I have fallen in love with just from looks.. not sure about her personality yet 😉

Or I'm thinking about a standard mex strat
Do you think I should buy a new guitar for around £300-350 or save extra £200 and spend around £500-600 on a guitar..
Problem is I'm going to have probs saving that extra £200 while saving the £300 cos I got alot of debts and can't really keep everyone waiting.. i'll be able to get away with no payments till the end of month.. then im going to have some explaining to do.. But will be able to pay them cash when they start asking for it..
Im planning to buy a new guitar before end of month..

half the price of a similar new one. Except if you go too old, those
guitars start to exceed their new price. I heard about this very
special pre-ww2 martin going for over 50,000 bucks US. A new
D-45 is maybe 4,000 bucks. See what I mean?
Same with strats. Your Ibanez S470 is a pretty darn good electric,
two humbuckers, tremolo, but only 22 frets, my son Kevin was
drooling over it for months. The price here starts at $475 US.
Maybe 320 pounds. Thats a good buy. Korean but one of the
better ones, three pickups.
I scouted around and came up with this website, american,
www.musicgoround.com
I found an S470, blue just like your pic, in Minnesota for
$330 US, whats that, 220 pounds? The phone # listed is
952 435-3003 plus the country codes if you want to call them.
There was one even cheaper but it didn't have a photo. The photo
I saw looks so much like yours it might be generic but there is
one source. Course the shipping would add to the price.
Anyway its worth going to the website and checking it out. Good luck.
Originally posted by sonhouseGood advice, except for suggesting buying from overseas. I'd expect standard shipping (airmail US to UK) to result in a destroyed guitar, otherwise a long wait and / or alot of extra expense to ship the guitar safely.

I dont think i'll be buying it over the net .. guitarvillage is about hour drive from me just around the m25.. i'll more than likely drive to that shop after I checked out what they have in 2 shops near me.
And also been visted by some famous players..
Visited by Noel Gallagher, Brian May, Gary Moore, Peter Green, Paul Weller and many more

If you buy through mail order from another state, you pay no
tax at all. So 300 pounds becomes 351 pounds right there.
That has to be part of it.
