Help moving to the Netherlands

Hi, I'm planning to move to the Netherlands (probably Amsterdam) very soon.
my dutch is not good but Ik leert vlugst! (bought 2 books today)

A few tips would really help....

1 How easy is it to get a job if you have limited dutch? are there any good agencies?
(SQL programmer at present, but would take any work to start, but preferably office based)

2 Where is cheap to stay.

3 Anyone done the same

... am hoping there are a few Dutch people on this site ... 🙂

1. No idea.
2. In a cheap hotel. Amsterdam is probably not the cheapest city to stay, then again they must have all range of priceclasses.
3. Not me.
