Anyone know any websites or dealers that I could possibly contact and get a replacement queen for a handmade stone set that I have? My fiance bought it for me while she was in Cancun and didnt realze that the guy that sold it to her was giving her 3 rooks on one side, instead of 2 rooks and a queen...
Any ideas?
Thanks for at least responding Rooms. π
I really dont even know where to look to get this done... I dont think there are specific shops around that would make it, seems kind of like a specialty
It does get confusing to say the least "Which rook was the queen?" "Umm... that one, oh look at that you're in check." π

Many years ago, before they became illegal, I got an ivory chess set. I still have it, but don't use it because I don't want to chip it. Anybody have an idea of its worth? Kirk
Another thought.....that's 2 this month ..........why not take a photo (digital or scanned) of your chess set and post some place appropriately....you never know, someone might see it and say "Hey, that's a chess set like I bought at Walmart. How come he got 3 rooks and I got 1 rook and 2 queens ???"
