Okay. I started a thread about remakes oh, about an hour ago. In the middle of it I realized I didn't know the name of the band that was the star of my post. So I went to google it and have come up empty. So now I'm rewriting my thread to get the dang band I am trying to think of!

Song: Behind Blue Eyes
No one knows what it's like
to be a bad man
to be a sad man
behind blue eyes...

The Who is the original band
Limp Bizkit remade it
*Someone else remade it, and this is who I'm trying to figure out! I *think* the band starts with an S, but not positive on that.

Any takers? Please! My day will be ruined if I don't figure this out!

It's a semi new remake, if that helps at all. At first when I saw Limp Bizkit remade it I thought I must be mistaken about the other band I have in my head, but I saw the lyrics of the Limp Bizkit version and it doesn't match up.

I'm SO frustrated! Not as frustrated as you with your package dilemma Phlab...that makes me feel a little better 😀

I'm wondering if maybe the band changed the name of the song, cause it's not any of those I'm sure of it Paulie. (Nice to see you by the way) Can you do that? Remake a song but with a different name? Hmmm. I'd think not. Ugh.

Funny thing though, I'm at my local rock station's website right now looking for it, and Sir Lot's avatar is on the home page!

Thread title is misleading, makes it sound like I am looking for the original artist. But I am looking for a band that remade the song. The original is The Who, and I know Limp Bizkit remade it. But someone else remade it too and that's who I am looking for.

Yes, I see that now. I should have read your original post more carefully.

Well, I can't find it on the net. Maybe I'm wrong. but I don't think so. I'm off now to do some Christmas shopping, bah humbug! Maybe I'll call the radio station when I get off here. If someone here can tell me who it is, I am in your debt forever!
