Hey,

Hey,

General

Hey,

I wonder why this three letter, one syllable soft greeting sounds so pleasing to our ears...
whether the word is spoken to us or in our presence to someone else or on the phone.

Hey,

In Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, and a few other languages, "hej" means "hello," although the "j" is pronounced as a "y"

It's a very nice word, different pronunciation in Denmark I think, more like your 'hi'.

'Hej' is when we meet, 'hej då' (hi then) when we part.
