Is one of the best Latin American novels.
It was written by the Argentinian (IMO) literary genius José Cortázar (1914-1984), and I call it one of my favorites.
I could have posted this in culture forum, but I really want to encourage everybody to search the translation into your language and read it. You won't be disappointed.
Enjoy!
Originally posted by SeitseI put it on my "to read" list when you mentioned it in the Culture forum a long time ago, but haven't even bought it yet... I still have several unread books on the bookshelf.

Luckily 'Hopscotch' is in my public library.
I didn't realise Cortazar was born and died so long ago. That explains the James Dean image in the photographs.
I was listening to tangos of poems he'd written the other day. One day I must visit Buenos Aires ... or perhaps Buenos Aires will come to visit me.
