Probably was caused by a Staphylococccus bacteria toxins (toxins releasde by bacteria irritate stomach and intestinal tract-thus vomiting and diarrhea)...food poisoning. Next time, wash everything incuding hands, door knobs, everything other people can touch, especially after wiping the arse and cleaning vomitus. Drink lots of water mixed with electrolytes-not gatorade! One can only let this run its course...after 12-24 hours, it has usually run its course. Salmonella poisoning usually takes 18-24 hours to develop and is not caused by bacteria toxins, but the bacteria itself, therefore it is classified as a food-borne infection- fever, headache, diarrhea, possible vomiting...worse than Staph...usually takes days to a week to recover, depending on the health of person...probably a good idea to see a doc if you get salmonella....

the only thing i could think of would be a bottle of cream which we all had, but wasn't past the used-by date. e-coli bacteria get's tested for a lot in freezing works, so it could be in cream i guess. just bad hygiene isn't it, which allows it to multiply quickley?

[no, didn't have any spinach]
Could not have happened to a nicer bloke.
