    I think insurance will cover it. Funny thing, I don't even know the name of the insurance company, have to call the mortgage company to find out.

    It shouldn't be a problem collecting however, we have been here 30 years without a single fire claim. 800 bucks a year for 30 years, $24K we have given those folks.

    And think of them and the miracle of compound interest that $24K is substantially more. Good luck with the claim. Did you read the "fineprint"?
