No offence, but 'royalchicken' isn't quite what I mean by 'dramatic': I meant something like 'PawnDestroyer' or 'BishopCrusher' (I just made those up - no offence, if there really are people with these tags). My thesis is partly, perhaps largely, motivated by my regret that I didn't choose a more interesting tag myself. I had no idea when I joined that I would be spending so much time here😞
Back off, buddy. I'm on my way to the top.

The same thing happened to me. I stumbled across this site by accident and absentmindedly just typed in my first initial and last name, figuring that I probably wouldn't hang around that much. So I've been stuck with the rather bland "rwingett" ever since.

My alias comes from two of my most beloved hobbies, which are sword fighting and RPGs. "Omnislash" is a sword attack from one of my favorite games of yore. 🙂

er...I think that's cos he/she just made the name up in response to my post, as part of the joke. besides, you say you like to play, not post, but you've posted 828 times, so you're obviously not too adverse to it...😉

I've noticed that most people with decent ratings don't seem to have very dramatic names, and most people with dramatic names don't have very good ratings. Anybody want to do an anthropology PhD on this? BTW, mine is initials and year of birth - I'm an exception to the trend I just mentioned: my rating's never been higher than 1445.
IS THIS DRAMATIC ENOUGH!

(i had to draw y=5f(x)+3 and we were given the graph of y=f(x). i drew y=5(f(x)-3)...)

Are you planning to do maths at university? If so, then I wouldn't take your qualifications so far too seriously. They will help you little when you're asked to find a real function that is everywhere continuous but nowhere differentiable, or prove that all bases of a finite dimensional vector space are the same size 😕

There once was a player named Bob,
or maybe his real name was Ted.
Rhymester or Hymester,
we'll just have to guess,
the path we are being led.

Bobby or Ted, we can't really be certain!
If Mr. Hymester has a certain glow,
is it from pulling our leg, or tweeking our nose?
Or is Teds Nose really Red, and the size of a bed?
Ah! To Really, Really Know!

yup-i want to do maths at uni, and no-i'm not taking all this too seriously-it's all very simple, really: the hardest part are log's, but that's cause i was off the day my teacher explained it...😛
