Never tried it on a Mac, but it's not easy on a PC.

All the files on that site are embeded so you'll need a tool for it.
Try...

http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Multimedia_and_Graphics/CD_Players/Flash_Extractor_Scout.html

No idea if it works, I've never tried it.

thanks, i'll try and download it later today.

btw i saw this customer review at download.com of the same software:

"Okay first off, with mozilla you can just go to the Properties of the site, Media, select the SWF, and save it."

http://www.download.com/Movies-Extractor-Scout/3640-2366_4-10438373.html?v=1&tag=tab_ur

i've tried this on chess.fm after opening the lecture in a new tab and then going to tools / page info / media ... but the file i end up with is just a little 60k thing that won't play.

hmph.

anyone know what's going on?

p.s. i've downloaded the software, which works a treat, but is just a 30-day trial version.

if anyone knows how to get firefox to simply let me save the file, that'd be greatly appreciated.

This one is free;

Flash Saving Plugin

http://www.browsertools.net/downloads.html

Allows you to save Flash animation right from Internet Explorer (or any IE-based browser]
Not sure if you can get it to work with Firefox.
Another way is to find the file in your cache and save it to desktop [or wherever] The above plug-in is the easy way.
