I'll just sit here for a while. If that's all right with you.

As long as you didn't bring your kids and expect me to entertain them!

One of my biggest pet peeves! The last person that just dropped by my house has never called or come back since. Good riddance.

I don't feel the least bit obligated to be hospitable or make any attempts to be anything but irritated at people who feel they can take such liberties.

But in order not to be a completely unreasonable witch I do ask people to call me if they plan on coming over.

Exceptions made for family members of course. But being family they know it's probably always best to call. 😉

I don't know that many people over here, so it doesn't happen to me. . .is that a good thing or a bad thing 😕

I just try to be mean, which keeps people from dropping by. And living next door to the zombie helps too.

being a student i actually quite like it (as long as it's not exam time). it's a welcome break from study (or whatever). last year we lived across the road from the big super market in st andrews, so quite a few people would pop in having bought groceries.

although i don't generally do it myself. i always feel like i'm imposing 😛

Just don't answer the door bell (they ring the bell, don't they?) and pretend you are out.

People drop by our house all of the time and they're always welcome. Come on by and swim in the pool if you're in the area!
