How do you start your day?

Started off with 10. There were 4 cockerels, 3 had to go. 5 have been picked off by foxes so we are down to 2 now.

woke up
got out of bed
dragged a comb across my head
found my way downstairs and had a smoke
and somebody spoke and i went into a dream
i dreamed i was in a hollywood movie
and i was the star of the movie
this really blew my mind
the fact that me
an overfed, long-haired leaping gnome
could be the star of a hollywood movie

but there i was
naked to the world
in front of every kind of girl

I’ve been checking the weather and the temp to decide if I’ll need my thermal vest and long-johns to walk the dog 🤔

I wake up my sleepy head. I put on some clothes, shake up my bed. I put another log on the fire for me. I make some breakfast and coffee. I look out my window, what do I see? Well, usually, a crack in the sky and a hand reaching down to me as if all the nightmares will come today. And I usually think, it looks as though they're here to stay. Having said that, I feel cheerier on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
