never been anywhere cept munich so can`t really say... like the hofbrauhaus really liked the beer the oktoberfest last year was awesome... the river is really cool to hang out at sunbathe and whatnot (everyone tends to be very naked) the party scene was okay not great but not dull.
Bit expensive for my budget but nevertheless very cool

come on!!
The 'typical' British view of Germany is that it is a clean (some would say sterile), orderly and brutally efficient (and humourless) place, where laws are followed and social norms prevail. Also, that it is a very rich country. Surprisingly, there don't seem to be many views on the geography or weather of the place.
My view having lived there and worked for many German companies is that although it is cleaner than Britain in terms of litter, the graffiti is terrible. Also, the place is not richer than Britain. However, I find the people just as funny as the British, if in a different way.
All in all, German is not that different from Britain.

I havent been to Germany, so im sure my opinion wont count.
Is it true that most of the women look like blokes and have hairy armpits?
I love the accent, sharp and abraisive. Just right for a villain.
I´ve been in Holland and Italy and I guess the women in Germany are sexier.

I would say: there are some flat bits with fast motorways and factories, some hilly, foresty bits, it's quite grey but can get really hot and really cold, they have peurile TV shows (like anywhere in Europe, I suppose), and they like being naked, drinking beer and singing. Although they appear to have know sense of humour ("he didn't laugh when I called him a "sour kraut!"😉, they laugh loudly and often.

I love Germany.
Great hills, great forests, nice people, sexy women, great motorways and even better road side restaurants (schnitzels...yummy).
If I was to live in Germany, I'd move to near Stuttgart.
Aaaaanyway.... dale21, of course I can only speak for myself, but I do shave my armpits... and my accent isn't too bad either (I hope?!?).
I kinda like Germany, but that won't stop me from moving away as soon as I have the possibility. It's not that I dislike Germany... it's just that the health care and tax systems will come crashing down in the next 10 years, and I don't wanna be here when that happens.
Well actually, I'm not really a fan of Germany. it's glory days are past in my opinion. But I absolutely love Heidelberg, where I'm living atm. It's beautiful-you can go everywhere by bike, and the weather is really warm when compared to the rest of Germany... I have no idea why, but the temperature is much higher than the weather forecasts say for the area, and it hardly ever rains.
But ah well... I think I shall move back to Boston when I'm done here, I liked it a lot during the 2 years that I lived there. Or California would be cool too 😉
