I was wondering whether to get one. Someone tells me that
it has the power of 2 PsII's combined in handheld format! If anyone has one, I'd like to know what they think.

The Sony PSP is lacking in gameplay and graphics, and is not up to the level that Sony hinted at, before its release. It's disappointing, to say the least.

My personal advice would be to NOT purchase one. But that's just my opinion. I'm sure there are plenty of people who enjoy the PSP.

Considering the price (£179.99) you may want to consider getting the newer (larger) consoles like the Xbox 360 or PS3 when they come out, which aren't much more considering the power of the consoles.

Xbox 360 - £279.99 with a 20GB hard drive
PS3 - not sure what is in £ but in $, $500

Well gameplay is attributed to software so that comment makes no sense.

Having said that, I have one and its collecting dust because of lack of good games coming out. Its frustrating to see movies like you got game coming out, and no games.

I think they could be worth it for the wireless web access on it's own. Someone at work has got one and it looks the dogs littleround'uns to me.

I think it's over priced by a long way at the moment. It's ok and the web access is a nice touch but not what it was cracked up to be.
